It’s spring, dammit. I celebrated the storms, warmth, sun and rapid temperature drop of this weekend by buying purple flowers, because I love purple and because flowers. So now my house is filled with irises. I don’t keep vases, because I’m not normally a flower person, so I repurposed a beer growler, Mason jars, and a water bottle for the cause. I even bought a live plant, which is something I haven’t done since Jones destroyed the last of my herb collection back in Phoenix. (The rosemary! Why the rosemary, you evil monster??) It didn’t take long for him to start in on these, but for now, it’s pretty in our little house.

Sweet Animal Barrette Tutorial (and sexy lady paper beneath). This is the first tutorial from Ginermelon here. I think you either think the animals are cute or the animals look sad. Gingermelon is so thorough and has pattern for everything. I think I do like them (that’s why I’m posting them) but I also like the strangeness factor of the sexy lady paper under them.
