I have spoken before about my nephew’s wonderful woodwork skills. He turned thirteen recently and although I love giving presents, I do hate giving useless ones. My husband and I don’t particularly like giving vouchers either. On this occasion we did indeed give him a voucher for his favourite hardware store, but we put it in the pocket of this workman’s bag I made for him. The thick cotton bag with a deep gusset and a big yellow leather patch pocket with wide straps is perfect for carrying wood scraps we collected from the renovation happening on our property.

Really clever tutorial using a recycled plastic bottle as the base for the bracelet. Also, if you have a question about tools or supplies used etc… there are links for everything. Ribbon crimps just make everything look better.

DIY Leather Cord Bead Bracelet Tutorial from Happy Hour Projects. There are certain jewelry findings that make jewelry projects look so much better and are so easy to use like end caps or ribbon crimp ends (projects here and here). DIY Leather and Bead Bracelet Tutorial from Lebenslustiger here. What is different about this bracelet is that there is no evident closure. You can slip it over your wrist because you use elastic when you string the bead part of the bracelet.
