I’ve always been a bit scared of sewing in zippers - I’m terrified that it’s going to get caught in the foot of my sewing machine and break it! But this seems pretty easy to make, and of course you don’t have to make it for earbuds. Add it to your keys and keep some change in there for those times you get stuck at the parking meter, or add a clip to it and use it for adding your key to if you go out walking.

Pin Cushion

• Pick a bracelet out of your Oops It Broke But I Really Don’t Want To Throw It Away collection. I glued the pieces back together, but the cracks are way obvious to wear it outside lol
• Make yourself a little stuffed round drawstring pouch like this one.
• You can add anything you want on it. I sewed a felt heart and a button.
• Shove it inside your bracelet.

And voila! pin cushion for you you take out your frustrations on! What more do you need, seriously.

I decided to sew up this little zippered pouch, featuring circles and applique. The finished size of this cute little pouch is approximately 9.5” wide by 5.5” tall. If you have never done any applique or sewn in a zipper, this tutorial would be a great introduction to those techniques!
